Ulysses’ Shelter is an international poets’, writers’, and translators’ residency programme, executed by Thraka (Greece), Sandorf (Croatia), Krokodil (Serbia), Slovene writers’ association (Slovenia), and Literature Across Frontiers (Wales). The programme has been running for four years, and during that time, 20 foreign poets stayed in Larissa for 2 weeks, and 10 Greek poets stayed in other cities, such as Ljubljana, Belgrade, and the island of Mljet.
In the year 2021, the Greek publisher Thraka published an anthology with poems written by the poets who participated in the second round of the project: Dimitris Karakitsos, Thomas Tsalapatis, Danilo Lučić, Dejan Koban, Grug Muse, Maja Klarić, Maša Seničić, and Steven Hitchins.
The poems were translated into Greek by Aristi Zaimi, Lara Unuk, Nikolas Koutsodontis, and Vasileia Oikonomou from other project languages, and published in Greek.
