Primary School "Mljet" invited Matthew Schembri, who was taking part in the "Ulysses' Shelter" residency program in March in the village of Babino Polje on the island, to be a guest of the 7th and 8th-grade students' English class. Primary School "Mljet" has only around 50 students altogether, who come to school from various parts of the island, and they rarely have the opportunity to talk with a foreign professional writer about his experiences in literature as well as in visual arts, but also about his experience of Mljet, an island that shares a lot of Mediterranean history with Matthew's home island - Malta. Matthew talked about his writing and the students were asking him questions about a variety of topics, interested in how he liked the island and its tranquility.
